Dr. Marija Mitic DDS comes from a family of dentists. Dr.Mitic graduated from dental school in Serbia and worked with her mother. After relocating to the United States, she entered International Dentist program at Loma Linda University. She is a member of a prestigious dental organization. Extensive hours of continuing education and dual dental degree allowed her to establish a state of art dental practice in Phoenix. Her practice has modern equipment, biomaterials and all the procedures you need.

Did you know that “silver” fillings contain about 45-55% of metallic mercury? Mercury has been known as the most toxic non-radioactive element in nature. It is NOT safe in any amount for our body or the environment. The most common symptom of mercury toxicity is fatigue, but others can also include heart and kidney problems, brain fog, headaches, memory loss, emotional instability, insomnia, etc. In addition, mercury can also exacerbate Alzheimer’s disease. We at Healing Dentistry are SMART certified and pride ourselves on the “SMART” technique we use to safely remove mercury fillings!

The NEW technology that we use to treat sleep apnea is the Fotona laser. Fotona is a non-invasive, no-pain, no-downtime snoring treatment. How does it work? Laser energy is used to gently heat the tissues of the airway causing a tightening effect which helps to keep your airway open. This treatment requires no anesthesia and is quick and comfortable allowing you to resume your daily routine immediately afterwards. We can also fabricate a mouth appliance for sleep apnea so that each patient is treated based on their individual needs. Sleep apnea is a very dangerous and mostly undiagnosed disease.
